Flux
What a great word... flux. Lots of ideas in flux. Is the heart of proactivity in having lots of ideas in flux? Options are wonderful things because it helps me be patient with other things. They main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. So I get depressed when business isn't going. Note I didn't say "going well" because I mean just that isn't going at all. But things go in cycles probablity is not homogenious. You don't draw black jack every 5th time they come in spurts. Thats what we call entropy. The second law of thermodynamics is "entropy always increases" Disorder. If you drop a drop of food coloring into a gallon of water it will not stay a drop the particles are free to move so they don't stick together they move. Much like a drunken sailor. until finally you approach homogeniousness where if you select a certain number of molecules eventually the probability will even out. Business is not food coloring in water. Neither are cards, they are actually not free to move they are driven by market forces that are not controllable, but you can adapt to them. We adapt by having other options. Entropy... Flux... Entropy comes and we battle it with itself flux. Disorder... Keep plodding. Every morning figure out what is most important right now with the external forces on you and then make your choice. Choose options in flux fight entropy. Customers come and go, but options are always available. Options in flux... ~ Monday, July 01, 2002
